Atlas Practice Comms (the web app, the phone app and the Chrome extension) is used only by the staff of Atlas Internal Medicine. It requires a staff login; it is not offered to the public.
On the practice's EHR pages it reads only the account number and name of the patient that is open, so the side panel can show that patient, and whether the user is actively working in the chart (typing, clicking or scrolling), to count time spent on the patient. It does not read or send anything else on the page.
Only to the practice's own Practice Comms server. The extension stores no patient information on the computer; the only things it keeps are the user's settings (whether to follow the EHR, and any EHR address added in Options). Patient information shown in the app comes from the practice's records and is protected as health information under HIPAA.
No information is sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers, or used for any purpose other than the practice's care and operations.
